“It” is Getting a Sequel and the Adult Version of the Cast Has Been Announced!

For those who are afraid of clowns, Stephen King’s novel It should be avoided at all costs. But it’s hard to avoid when it keeps showing up in pop culture. The novel came out in 1986. A TV miniseries starring Tim Curry as the creepy clown Pennywise came out in 1990. A successful remake was launched last year. When will this madness end?

Well, guess what? A sequel to last year’s hit was announced and they revealed the cast!

Stan Uris will be portrayed by Andy Bean, who previously starred in Allegiant and Power.

Eddie Kaspbrak will be portrayed by James Ransone, who was in The Wire, Sinister, and Sinister 2.

There’s no word who will portray the adult versions of Ben Hanscom and Mike Hanlon.

And of course, Bill Skarsgard will return to play Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

It tells the story of a group of children terrorized by a clown who exploits the fears and phobias of its victims. The book is one of King’s most recognizable works, with Publishers Weekly announcing it was the bestselling book of 1986. The clown Pennywise was also recognized as one of the scariest clowns in pop culture.

The sequel will be released on September 6, 2019.
