Amid rumors that Kris Aquino’s comeback show since stepping away from the limelight has either been canceled or postponed, the actress has seemed to have taken a break from social media altogether.
Upon checking her Instagram account, @krisaquino, it’s been discovered that it no longer exists—presumably deactivated by her or her team.
It is unclear why she did so, other than the fact that it happened after it was reported that her supposed talk show with TV5 “Love Life With Kris” premiering this July 25 was halted. According to entertainment columnist Salve Asis of Pilipino Star Ngayon, the alleged reason behind it was “politics”—with the producers of the program being unable to reconcile issues with TV5 executives.
It has yet to be confirmed what the state of the Queen of All Media’s comeback is currently, so we can’t say for sure that it’s totally canceled. We’ll just have to wait patiently until things get resolved before we can all give Kris the warmest welcome she’s been looking forward to the most.
