Daniel Craig will be ending his run as James Bond in this year’s No Time to Die, so it’s understandable that people want to know who will play 007 next.
A lot of names have been thrown in the mix, but singer Billie Eilish wants Michael B. Jordan to play the titular character.
She told Capital Breakfast, “Honestly, Michael B. Jordan would kill that s–t. I think he’d kill it.”
Billie sang the theme song to No Time to Die, which shares the same title.
Michael seems to be popular as there were rumors that the Black Panther villain has met with Warner Bros. for a possible role as Superman. However, according to Variety, “Jordan isn’t ready to commit to taking on the project since filming doesn’t seem likely to happen for several years and he has a full dance card of projects.”
Daniel famously said that he’d “rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than play James Bond again. No Time to Die will be his fifth Bond film after Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre. The next film will be quite important in the franchise as it will be the 25th Bond film.
He said, “I think this is it. I just want to go out on a high note. I can’t wait.”
He also clarified his infamous glass and wrist statement, saying, “Instead of saying something with style and grace, I gave a really stupid answer,” before adding that he just wanted to take a break after filming Spectre.
