After days of speculation, actress Maja Salvador has confirmed the news: she is temporarily joining a different network for a new project.
In an Instagram post, Maja expressed her sincerest gratitude to everyone who has continued to support her and her home network, ABS-CBN. She then revealed her future plans which involve her taking part in a new show on TV5.
[“Kapamilya, I will temporarily join my father Mr. M so please don’t be surprised if you see me in a different network and continue to give entertainment to you all in whatever way and platform. Please continue to accompany and support me through the ups and downs of this journey I’m taking. Thank you very much.”]
Mr. M, or Johnny Manahan, is set to direct a new Sunday noontime show for TV5 to be hosted by Piolo Pascual and Catriona Gray.
This comes after ABS-CBN Network was denied a fresh franchise in Congress last July which led to many of the network’s talents transferring to TV5.
