The new show dates for the Philippine run of “Into the Woods” are finally here!

The Theatre Group Asia (TGA) has announced six additional performances for the highly anticipated musical. Check out the new dates below:
- August 28, 7:30 p.m.
- August 29, 7:30 p.m.
- August 30, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- August 31, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the ticket prices are as follows:
- The Woods (VIP) – P6,000
- The Palace (A Reserve) – P5,500
- The Forbidden Tower (B Reserve) – P4,750
- Grandmother’s House (C Reserve) – P3,500
- The Farm (D Reserve) – P2,800
- The Baker’s House (E Reserve) – P1,800
- Giant’s Lair (F Reserve) – P1,500
TGA subscribers can access tickets early on March 28 from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. via Ticketworld online. Ticket sales for persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and cash purchases will be on March 29, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre.
The general sale starts on March 30 at 10 a.m. via Ticketworld online and its outlets.
“Into the Woods” was originally scheduled to run from August 7 to 24 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater.
As of this writing, the announced star-studded cast includes Lea Salonga and her child Nic Chien, Eugene Domingo, couple Nyoy and Mikkie Volante, Joaquin Pedro Valdes, Arielle Jacobs, Mark Bautista, Joreen Bautista, Kakki Teodoro, Sarah Facuri, Tex Ordoñez, Carla Guevara-Laforteza, Jamie Wilson, and Rody Vera.
Based on James Lapine’s book, “Into the Woods” intertwines the plots of “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Cinderella,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” and “Rapunzel,” with a plot centered around a baker and his wife who wish to have a child.
