According to newsinfo.inquirer.net, his name is Roy Lawagan and works at Commission on Audit office in La Trinidad, Benguet province.

The story further states that while he was working as a security guard, Lawagan attended night classes during his first year at a Law School.

As quoted, Lawagan recalled that it wasn’t easy (attending night classes) since his wife was pregnant then with their daughter, who is now 4 years old.

Dreams do come true

Lawagan revealed that “Being a lawyer was my father’s dream.”

Whilst his sisters also graduated from political science, it was only him who pursued the Law.

He finished his pre-law course of Criminology at the University of Baguio and fulfilled his law studies at Saint Louis University.

Interestingly, Lawagan didn’t pass the 2014 bar exam, despite having enrolled in a review center. He then decided to review on his own for the 2015 bar exams.

As fate would have it, he lived up to his father’s dream of being a lawyer. He can now be called: Attorney Roy Lawagan!

He has quit his job at COA and plans to work for his cousin’s law firm in Manila to gain experience!

Ultimately, it is Attorney’s birthday on the 11th of May, so this news is definitely the greatest gift he could ever have!

Congratulations, Attorney and we wish you all the best!

Isn’t it nice to hear something out of the ordinary?Â
