INSPIRING: Mystery Man Treats 200 Soldiers with Donuts After Seeing Them In Line at BGC

A man, who introduced himself as Dexter Koh, purchased boxes of donuts and gave them to some soldiers as a sweet treat.

The soldiers who were members of the Philippine Army were manning a static event display in celebration of the  Army’s 118th anniversary at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) last Sunday.

A netizen shared this story on Facebook. According to Gem Dy (Captain Gemira Dy of the Philippine Army’s Civil-Military Operations Group as per ABS-CBN News’ post):

Some soldiers were in a queue at Krispy Kreme BHS, suddenly a man who introduced himself as Dexter Koh asked them how many soldiers are there for the static display. One of them answered that about 200 Philippine Army soldiers were outside, when Dexter learned this, he ordered doughnuts for everyone which left both the KK crew and army troops astounded. Dexter just briefly paid for the doughnuts that we were not even able to take a photo with him.

Along with this, she also posted a photo of the soldiers with boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts.

She ended the post with a shout-out to their generous giver:

To Dexter, from the bottom of our hearts, we are very thankful for your gesture! Words cannot comprehend enough our gratitude for citizens like you!

Sometimes, the acts of random kindness impact a lot. Faith in humanity restored.
