Debby Ryan and Dallas Roberts, the main stars of Netflix’s original series Insatiable, visited the Philippines for the first time this month to promote the second season of the series, which is now out on Netflic.

Insatiable, directed by Lauren Gussis, is a dark comedy about Patty Bladell (played by Debby Ryan), a teenager who was bullied for being overweight. After a freak accident, she becomes thin and seeks revenge on her bullies. Bob Armstrong (played by Dallas Roberts), a disgraced civil lawyer and beauty pageant coach, sees the potential in Patty and sets to turn her into a pageant queen.
In Season 2, they are joined by former Miss Universe titleholder Gloria Diaz, who plays the role of a former beauty queen turned fierce pageant mentor Gloria Reyes idolized by Bob Armstrong.

On October 8, Netflix hosted an event for the Insatiable fans of the Philippines, and here’s a run-down of what happened:

5. Great Food Inspired by the Series
The gobs of food at the fan event had all the fans channeling their inner Fatty Patties! Binge-worthy food from cupcakes to donuts to pizza slices were present to fill even the most insatiable of god-sized holes.
Even Angie Bladell’s famous Wiener-Taco Truck was there to serve her famous wiener tacos!
4. Fun Booths Made for Pageant Queens

Before the main event began, Netflix Philippines kept the fans occupied with activities where they could let their inner pageant queens shine through!

From an interactive booth to help them practice their own versions of Catriona Gray’s “Lava Walk” to a photo booth filled with crowns, scepters, and royal capes; all of the attendees felt like they were famous! Like, Drew Barrymore famous!
3. Unforgettable Performances
The event was opened by the absolutely gorgeous and extremely talented drag queens of the Philippine scene! Having watched all their performances, it is definitely safe to say that their lip-syncs gave us life, and let me tell you that, Shantay, we really wanted them to stay!
To the audience’s surprise, they even performed “Miss Magic Jesus” from Insatiable!

2. An Actual Real Live Pageant
In true Patty Bladell fashion, fans from the audience were chosen to participate in a pageant! They were given the opportunity to showcase their signature pageant walks before going through the nerve-racking Question and Answer portion.
To make it even more anxiety-inducing, the stars themselves – Debby Ryan, Dallas Roberts, and Gloria Diaz – served as their judges!
