INC Member Speaks Out on the Current Iglesia Ni Cristo Issue

The buzz on Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) protest is not over. After the widespread traffic over the long weekend and after a veteran journalist spoke about about the INC issue on Facebook, an alleged member of INC has aired out her thoughts on the issue, as well – and her comments are far from the other comments from INC members that have been circulating on social media so far:

Guilty much?

Rough Translation:

As a member of Iglesia ni Cristo, I am embarrassed by this move of the Council. They are using the Brothers and Sisters to protect themselves from the filed case of Ka Samson. Didn’t they say that if they wanted to prove the allegations, the case should be taken to court? How come they want to stop it now that the investigation is actually in court? Guilty much? Ka Eduardo Manalo isn’t the one who was given the case here; it was the 8 members of Council.

As for the issue about the SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. The Government of the Philippines has the right to investigate any member involved in any religion if they are infringing on other people’s rights. Since I am a Sister, do I have the right to beat up my fellowman? And the person I beat up – won’t they have the right to tell the authorities about what I did?

Brothers and Sisters, you are humiliating Iglesia’s name. We learned NOT TO START ANY KIND OF RALLY. And now you’re shoving it in everyone’s faces?

Do not meddle with the Government. They are just doing their job.
