With more excitement and full packed energy, the search for the dream band you have always wanted has come to its fulfilment. Joining this Christian reality TV search as mentor- judges are Mr. Harald Huysenn (Shamrock’s and Gloryfall’s drummer), Mr. Jay Durias (singer, composer and member of South Border) and Ms. Aia de Leon (singer and former member of Imago); also with Carl Guevarra (host and commercial model), Kristine Antonio (MYX’s 2012 DJ Search Female winner), and Rem Paguio (VJ, Flaming Youth vocalist) as program hosts.
IGNITE is certainly not your ordinary musical show, nor is it the typical band search you have in mind. Aside from the fact that it is the only Christian-oriented battle of the bands competition on Philippine TV, the contestants are also faced with puzzling twists and turns as they were regrouped for a more intense round of challenges and put to the test to come up with the top three bands who will journey their way to the finale on September.
Kicking its pilot episode last June, and with two gruelling audition phases already completed, more exciting episodes definitely await your Saturday evenings. As Executive Producer Regemrei Bernardo says, with IGNITE’s unique program features that go beyond music into communicating hope to all aspiring musicians, it is undeniably the most ambitious musical breakthrough in the course of TV programming in the country.
