Hollywood actor Idris Elba is one of the latest celebrities who tested positive for coronavirus or COVID-19.
He announced the news on Twitter, saying, “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.
Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.”

According to the video that accompanied the post, he got tested after being exposed to someone who also tested positive.
Idris added, “Look, we live in a divided world right now…but now is a time for solidarity. Now is a time for thinking about each other. There are so many people whose lives have been affected.”
Idris is known for his films Cats, Hobbs & Shaw, Pacific Rim, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Thor, Thor: The Dark World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War.
Other actors who have tested for COVID-19 are Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, and Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju.
