“Isang dosenang birthday na ang dumaan na magkasama tayo (A dozen birthdays have passed that we’ve spent together). You’ve worn multiple hats mula noon. Nanay, artista, chef, flamenco dancer. Hanggang sa naging chairperson, public servant, madame chevalier. Tapos naging CEO ng kumpanya (Then you became a CEO of a company), creative director, producer, scriptwriter, playwright, songwriter,” he wrote.
“I am grateful to witness all the things you have become. Your passion knows no bounds. Parang iba-ibang persona ang taong nasa tabi ko (It’s like I’ve seen different personas), and you’re not just good at all of these. You freakin’ excel at it. Your drive is so infectious na kahit ang pinakatamad na tao (ako yun), nadadala mo (that even the laziest person gets inspired),” he added.
Of all the personas he’s seen, the former child star sincerely shared that his favorite is seeing her as both a wife and a best friend.
“But of all these personas, my favorite will always be you as my wife, my soul partner, and best friend. That when all the world is finally quiet, you come home to me, stripped of all the facade, and just be you. Kaya swerte ako (I’m so lucky), because I get to experience the most beautiful part of you,” he shared.
“You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. I will forever be your number 1 fan, and I’ll always be here to celebrate you and remind you of how awesome you are. Happy Birthday, my love.”
Ice Seguerra and Liza Diño got married in 2014 in San Francisco, California.
He continues to share his journey through music as the 41-year-old singer is set to release a new song, “Shelter of the Broken,” on June 28 across all streaming platforms.
