As summer is quickly approaching, many Filipinos are looking into having a vacation on the Island of Boracay.
IATF just approved Saliva RT-PCR as a requirement for tourists coming to Boracay.
The Saliva RT-PCR is a cheaper and more convenient test as it doesn’t need to get samples using a swab. Currently, this test is only available at the Philippine Red Cross and costs Php2000.
Many families are traveling to Boracay but since an RT-PCR test is required for children above 2 years old, many children are having a hard time getting the test done. The Saliva RT-PCR is a less invasive test that is also more suitable for children.
You can book a Saliva RT-PCR test via book.redcross1158.com. They have also partnered with SM Supermalls for their drive-thru testing located at SM Megamall.
