Somerhalder plays Dr. Swann, a scientist looking for a cure for his best friend Fayne, who has become a powerful underground leader of the vampires.

Joining the cast of V Wars are Jacky Lai (Shadowhunters), Peter Outerbridge (The Umbrella Academy), Kyle Breitkopf (Barkskins), Laura Vandervoort (Jigsaw), and Kimberly Sue Murray (Crimson Peak).
All ten episodes of V Wars hit Netflix on December 5.
