This year’s Istorya ng Kultura at ng mga Obra Natin (I.K.O.N.) marked another milestone in the events’ scene in Tagaytay. A week long celebration of arts, culture, native products, talents and people in the heart of the South was truly remarkable and authentic.
FORA Filinvest Lifemalls in partnership with When in Manila, DTI Cavite and NDN Entertainment Productions celebrated the Heroes Month last August 26 to September 1, 2019 with a bang at FORA Activity Center. This week-long celebration of our ARTS, CULTURE, PRODUCTS, CRAFTS, TALENTS and ARTISTRY is entitled IKON (Istorya ng Kultura at ng mga Obra Natin, and is now a signature event of FORA Mall Tagaytay.
Attracting an average of 800 foot traffic daily, more than 50 exhibitors and participants were very satisfied with the maximum exposure of the event, giving them the opportunity to advertise their local products and their works of art. This event also is a collaborative effort of different groups of artists, media, celebrities and many more.
The event was hosted by Super Mac, Miss World 2017 Second Princess and 2018 Miss Tourism Worldwide Zara Carbonell and the country’s most influential and controversial motivational speaker, Manu Respall, a.k.a. MR Speaks, with the VIP presence of Mayor Randy Salamat of Alfonso Cavite and Vice Mayor Raymond Ambion of Tagaytay.
I.K.O.N. (Istorya ng Kultura at ng mga Obra Natin) is FORA’s advocacy to honor and feature silent heroes, celebrating culture, love of country and the arts. This year’s celebration will not be possible without the collaborative efforts of FORA team headed by Filinvest Lifemalls VP Joy. R. Polloso, Miss Maria Martha Asuzano, Miss Jingle Medriano, Cristel Colapo and Mr. Adrian Legarda. Also, I.K.O.N. event was spearheaded by NDN Entertainment Productions headed by their President, Norilyn D.
