Hundreds of Pets are in Need of Your Help!!!

Various netizens have been sharing the plight of one of the biggest animal shelters in the Philippines lately, that of MBY Pet Rescue and Sanctuary in Morong, Rizal.

In case you haven’t heard of the shelter, it is personally run and funded by a 50-year-old woman named Marita Yusada, who out of sheer passion rescues stray dogs and cats. At the moment, she relies entirely on donations and volunteers. Unfortunately, she can no longer pay for her caretakers or even the electricity bills and there are hundreds of pets still at the sanctuary relying on her for survival.

Apparently, the pets have gone for three days with almost no food and as of the moment, she is down to her last six bags of dog food, which obviously isn’t even close to enough to feed hundreds of dogs and cats.

According to a recent visitor’s post on their Facebook page, the dogs seem to consume 8-10 big bags of dog food per day, so any donations would go a very long way at helping out both Ms. Yusada and her hundreds of pets.

If you would like to help out, donations can be sent to the following bank accounts or PayPal account:
