This is How Holiday Inn and Suites Makati is Maintaining Health and Safety in the New Normal

Holiday Inn and Suites Makati was born out of a love for True Hospitality. Throughout their most challenging time yet, this has never changed. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues are still their top priorities, and they have implemented new hygiene procedures above and beyond their standard protocols.

To keep you safe, the hotel experience may feel a little different with social distancing measures in place that adhere to government guidelines and public health advice. They’ve also introduced the IHG Clean Promise, giving you the reassurance you need. Find out more here.

To maintain the health and safety of their guests and colleagues, they have implemented the following:

1. Guests, visitors and employees are required to fill out health declaration form upon entry or check-in.

2. Temperature scanning, disinfectant foot bath and sanitizer station for all guests, visitors and employees are conducted in all points of entry.

3. Luggage and bags are disinfected upon entry in the hotel.

4. Reduced contact at the Front Desk for check-in with installed clear plastic screen barrier for touchless transactions and paperless check-out.

5. Keycards are sanitized before issuing to guests and are dropped at the Front Desk’s box upon check-out to be sanitized.

6. Sticker markers on the floor and ropes and stanchions are placed to indicate where guests should stand and to keep physical distance.

7. Hand sanitizers are available in public spaces and hallways throughout the hotel.

8. The use of personal protective equipment such as masks and face shields of hotel colleagues and guests are required to ensure everyone’s well-being.

9. Conducting visible and more frequent deep cleaning of high-touch surfaces in public areas.

10. New standard approach in food and beverage service with enhanced food safety measures, such as take-out and delivery, grab-and-go, and limited room service are in place.

11. Please wash or sanitize your hands at all times, especially when touching high-touch points or areas.

12. Please be respectful of physical distancing by staying at least 1.5 meters apart at all times.
