MoodleMoot conferences are held around the world, with a focus on encouraging collaboration and sharing of best practices of the most widely-used open source learning platform, Moodle. Australia, Canada, Dubai, Greece and France are some of the countries that have been running moots annually, and this year, finally, it is coming to Manila with the theme “Transformative Teaching Technologies.”
In the words of Moodle’s Founder and CEO, Martin Dougiamas, MoodleMoots give our global community the opportunity to recharge their practice, discover state of the art in online learning and meet their peers.

In line with Moodle’s mission to empower educators to improve our world, all school administrators, professors, teachers, corporate trainers, content owners and open-source technology advocates, both Moodler and non-Moodlers, are sure to grow their skills and contribute better to the community and our society, through and after this gathering.

Taking place in 26–27 April 2018 in Manila Hotel, Manila, MoodleMoot Philippines 2018 is the first MoodleMoot to be hosted in the country.
In addition to being supported by a number of sponsors, MoodleMoot Philippines 2018 is also endorsed by all of the three major government institutions on education; DepEd, CHED and TESDA, and likewise promoted by the Philippine eLearning Society (PeLS) and the UP Open University.
MoodleMoot Philippines 2018 attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the man behind Moodle.
