Sound Quality: This is where HiFiman doesn’t make any mistake at all. Don’t get me wrong, the sound quality isn’t mind blowing phenomenal, but the sound quality is nothing to fault. It’s a mid-tier sound that has no direct focus on any frequency. Everything is well balanced from treble to bass, even until soundstage. You can sum this up as a safe spot for sound signatures. All-in-all, this is a very neutral earphone for a very good price and very good build quality. This, along with the Sennheiser IE60, are the only in-ears that I could probably wear and listen to all day long. The Sennheiser IE60 focuses on the mids though, while the RE-400 is very well balanced and more flexible to genres in general. RE-400, No faults here.
