Here’s Where You Can Reminisce the Story of “Money Heist” in Metro Manila

The end is near for all Money Heist fans. After 4 ½ years of tumultuous emotions, the series that has been bringing us excitement, joy, thrills, and pain is ending this December.

According to Álex Pina, creator of La Casa de Papel, as it is originally called in Spain, part 2 of the final season will “see the gang pushed into irreversible situations, into a wild war: it is the most epic part of all the parts we’ve shot.” Pina reveals that something will take place every 30 seconds to bring even more adrenaline and intense emotions into our lives – but honestly, we aren’t ready for the end.

As such, we were ecstatic to learn that Netflix is bringing us one final Money Heist experience right here in the Philippines so we can reminisce about all of our favorite moments from the show while enjoying a little roadtrip at the same time. Get ready as Netflix heists buildings all over the Philippines and be a part of this worldwide phenomenon. Here’s a convenient blueprint of where you can find El Profesor and his crew:

El Professor has always been meticulous with his plans, so it isn’t really surprising that he has miniature models of the buildings they planned to heist. He was always one step ahead–from handling the hostages to dealing with negotiations with Detective Raquel, the team was confident that he was always ready with a plan B. Reminisce about El Profesor’s best plans and back-ups when you visit these sites that resemble the mint of Spain.

 Denver

Arguably one of the most painful deaths in Money Heist history, Nairobi is a bad-ass we won’t soon forget. From her empowering welding scene portrayed at this site to the many moments she challenged the patriarchy in Money Heist and stepped up as the leader when it was needed, now you can reminisce about all of your favorite Nairobi moments at Uptown BGC. Make sure to visit at 7pm to enjoy a fire dance that will magically light up her torch!

Tokyo

Tokyo’s dramatic goodbye through the hole is one of the most heart-wrenching scenes we’ve ever watched on Netflix. Honestly, even just writing about it hurts. If Tokyo was one of your favorite characters, this is the best place to remember her fearless spirit.

At the same venue, under the actual Grand Canal, one more exciting scene is coming. The iconic diver swimming in a vault full of gold will come to life underwater!

If you’re looking for something fun to do, why not reminisce about the most iconic moments of the show and visit these sites with a fellow Money Heist fan? (Given the pandemic, please don’t forget to keep practicing social distancing and wear your face masks when you visit!) If you haven’t watched the show yet, now is the perfect time to get acquainted with it and start binge-watching all of the seasons before the final part airs tomorrow on December 3, 2021 – only on Netflix.

And that’s not all! To get you even more excited, an AR filter is already available on Instagram to kickstart the campaign before the building takeovers. Get ready for some fun Money Heist surprises on Instagram. Just look for the Money Heist filter and see the magic happen.
