Mark your calendars: the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 beauty pageant is still a go this year!
In social media posts dated Tuesday, September 22, the organizers of the pageant have announced that the grand coronation event will be aired on Sunday, October 25.

Fifty-one contestants will be vying for the crown and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent the country in the global Miss Universe contest scheduled later this year.
It will be aired on GMA-7 Network. More details will be revealed soon.
Meanwhile, an online series detailing the candidates’ journey titled “Ring Light” will be premiering next week on September 27, 2020, on www.empire.ph. It promises to show fans what it truly takes to become a beauty queen, from rigorous training to fascinating challenges, as well as all the fun, behind-the-scenes activities. The show is also part-fundraiser as a portion of each subscription will go to the candidates’ chosen beneficiary as well as partner organizations AHA! Learning Center and WWF.
