Ben&Ben will be holding another virtual concert this week to launch their new single, “Doors,” while raising funds for those affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The beloved local band will be streaming their new song on Saturday, April 18, through their official YouTube channel at 7 PM. Funds raised will be spent on nutritional support, personal protective equipment, testing kits, and relief goods for frontline health workers and daily wage earners who’ve lost their livelihood amid the Luzon-wide quarantine.
“We cannot wait to play our songs for all of you this Saturday. We’ll be launching our new single ‘Doors’. But more importantly, we’ll be helping out with the COVID-19 efforts in the Philippines by raising funds for our frontline workers,” the band said.
Its 9 members will be streaming from their homes. “Doors” will also be the band’s first international single and their “most favorite so far.” It is mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Miles Walker (Beyonce, Usher, Coldplay, Rihanna) and mastered by Leon Zervos (P!nk, Maroon 5, Beastie Boys, Willy Nelson).
