Pinoy Big Brother alumna Dionne Monsanto just got married to the love of her life, Ryan Stalder, in Switzerland and she did it while wearing a simply elegant and shockingly inexpensive wedding dress!
The former actress revealed in an Instagram post that she had only spent PHP 300 on her dress, which consisted of an off-shoulder corset and a plain white skirt.

“The bottom part of my dress is my Something Old. It was a thoughtful gift from my sister @travelfoodfinds a year ago. The corset top is something I bought from an online shop in the Philippines for less than Php 300,” she shared in her post.
She then opened up about how she has learned the value of immaterial things, implying that one doesn’t need to spend so much to have a memorable wedding.
“As I’ve gotten older, I realize more and more that things are just things. That I don’t need a lot to be happy. That love & respect from people I love are more important than any material possession,” she said.

Dionne and Ryan tied the knot on March 8. Prior to that, Dionne made headlines for revealing that she will be leaving the Philippines for good to be with her now-husband and that she will be retiring from showbiz.
“I started acting professionally in 2002 for ABS-CBN RNG. It has been an amazing 18 years. Thank you for helping this small-town girl achieve her dreams. I am forever grateful,” she said in her Instagram post at the time of the announcement.
