Clearly depicting the iconic Philippine sun, the nationalistic piece of jewelry goes beyond simply symbolizing the Philippines flag. Catriona revealed the deeper meaning behind the hand chain bracelet on an Instagram post.
“My ode to my beloved Philippines. Throughout my journey, I’ve always wanted to carry a piece of my country. After designing my ear cuff, it came time for the final piece,” she captioned it.

The hand chain, which features the Philippines’ golden sun and the three stars, was created by Catriona in collaboration with Manny Halasan. Manny shared the design on his own Instagram page, sharing that through the bracelet Catriona was able to “wave proudly the Philippines flag.”
