Ever wondered which passports were the most powerful around the world?
Financial advisory firm Arton Capital released the 2017 Global Passport Index, which ranked 193 countries and six territories according to the number of countries their respective passport holders can visit without a visa, and the number of states they can visit by gaining a visa upon arrival.
At the bottom of the list is Afghanistan at 95th place, raking up a visa-free score (VFS) of 23, compared to the top country’s score of 157. And in case you’re wondering, the Philippines is at 64th place, tied with Tunisia and Cuba with a visa-free score (VFS) of 60.
One of the most notable leaps is Singapore, which landed at second place, the highest Asian nation on the list. Singapore evenย overtookย South Korea, which was at second place last year.
