Could Henry Cavill be the Next James Bond?

A lot of rumors have been circulating recently as to whether Henry Cavill would be giving up his cape as Superman and even more rumors have been circulating that Michael B. Jordan would be replacing him.

One of the biggest rumors as to why Henry Cavill might be stepping down is because he is allegedly being eyed for the next James Bond after Daniel Craig ends his Bond reign after his next Bond movie. We definitely know that Henry can play the part, that’s for sure, especially after his roles in ‘Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’.

He also told Yahoo Movies in an interview during the summer that he would definitely be interested in suiting up and would accept the role if it was offered to him. “I think Bond would be a really fun role,” he says. “It’s British, it’s cool. I think now that I have my ‘Mission: Impossible’ badge, we can do real stunts and really amp it up, as well.”

“Not to say they weren’t doing real stunts,” he adds. “I’m just saying it would be fun for me to actually take what I’ve learnt on this and carry it through to a movie like ‘Bond’. I’d love to play a Brit. I don’t get to play a Brit very often. So yes, I would love the opportunity and if they were to ask, I would say yes.”

Current James Bond Daniel Craig has already appeared in several Bond movies and is currently working on ‘Bond 25’ to be released late next year, where he will be playing the character for the last time. In 2017, Craig mentioned in ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ that he just wants to go out on a high note.

Will that be Henry’s cue to take over the Bond reign? Do you want to see him as James Bond or do you have anyone better in mind?
