LOOK: This Pinoy BL Series is Coming to Netflix Next Month

Pinoy BL series, “Hello Stranger” is officially coming to the global streaming platform Netflix this May!

The series, which aired last year starring Kapamilya actors Tony Albrusca and JC Alcantara, follows the story of two bickering college students, Xavier and Mico, who are paired up in a virtual class project amid the pandemic and whose relationship eventually grows into something they never expected.

It was shot mostly through video calls due to shooting restrictions last year.

Because the series was so well-received by Filipinos and even international viewers, it earned a movie sequel that premiered in February 2021 which sees the two characters joining a writing camp where they get to discover more things about each other—both good and bad.

“Hello Stranger” is directed by Petersen Vargas and written by Patrick Valencia. It also stars Gillian Vicencio, Vivoree Esclito, Patrick Quiroz, and Miguel Almendras. You can stream it on Netflix starting May 10.
