Heart Evangelista was quick to remind everyone who keeps sending her questions related to child-rearing and the possibility of her having a baby in the future that her dogs are her children.
In an Instagram Q&A, a fan had asked Heart if she was ever going to stop allowing her dog Panda from sleeping on her bed if she eventually gives birth to a baby.
Heart then shared a photo of her dog and answered: “Panda Ongpauco Escudero is my child. She will always be in my life and will never be downgraded just because.”
She also urged everyone to stop giving her unsolicited advice regarding her beloved pooches. “Whoever [advises] me to let her stay outside or ‘bawal ‘to, bawal ‘yan,’ can just take a chill pill and shut up,” she said. “Pandita Ongpauco Escudero is my daughter.”
Apart from Panda, Heart also shares her home with her other fur babies: Purpur, Yogi Bear, Pierre, and Che Che.

Just recently, Heart recalled her heartbreaking miscarriage in 2018. She shared a photo taken at the hospital room with her husband Senator Chiz Escudero the moment she found out that she had lost her twins.
“Worst day of my life,” she wrote. “Lost my twins… Now I have angels.”
She has time and time again reminded the public that comments about her “badly needing a baby” are inappropriate as she is still traumatized by the incident.
“Having a miscarriage is the most traumatizing feeling. I carried my twins 4 months after because my doctor wanted me to naturally go through the process. It was the most horrible feeling thinking maybe God can bring them back to me … or me thinking am I not a good person for this to happen,” she shared in a previous post.
“Having babies is for sure a blessing or just actually being able to feel that you can love someone even if you haven’t met them,” she added. “Now me trying after a year or so is my choice but me not having a baby as of the moment is God’s choice and I wouldn’t want to question that.”
