Heart Evangelista has flown back to China to continue shooting for her secret international film project.

On Instagram, Heart snapped a photo of her chair on set and said, “Back in China.”
She added, “I’m missing my family terribly, but I’m so thankful to be here. I feel way too lucky to be chasing my dreams here to have any complaints.”
She also posted a photo with actor-director Armand Assante, gushing over how honored she was “to work alongside such talented people” like him.

Heart has been filming in China since early this year for an undisclosed project. Although she has been rumored to star in the sequel to Hollywood hit Crazy Rich Asians, titled China Rich Girlfriend, Heart has already denied it.

She did, however, confirm at a press event that it was going to be an action-packed film. She said that she has been training and working out every day to prepare for her role.
“It’s my first international and it’s my first action movie. And I got the lead role,” she shared. “So, parang medyo pressure siya kasi (it kind of gives me pressure because) I really have to work out and I really have to be fit or else ‘di ko kakayanin (I can’t do it).”
