Heart Evangelista may now be happily married to Senator Chiz Escudero, but back in the day, she was ABS-CBN’s ingenue who had her fair share of dates. And while she kept quiet when tongues wagged that she and John Lloyd Cruz used to date, now the actress has finally confirmed the long-standing rumor!
Speaking to PEP, Heart admitted that they had a short-lived romance back when she was still with ABS-CBN.
Heart said:
“It was just one of those… I was in between… Like, I just broke up with someone at that time and I was gonna meet somebody also. So, it was very brief.”
Heart briefly dated John Lloyd for a few months before she became romantically involved with Jericho Rosales in 2005.
When asked to comment on John Lloyd’s rumored relationship with actress Ellen Adarna, the 32-year-old Kapuso actress said:
He’s a really, really good guy. I’m really happy for him. Actually, I think they’re bagay if they’re together. I think okay sila together.
