Heart Evangelista Addresses Alleged Rift With Pia Wurtzbach

Heart Evangelista has finally broken her silence regarding the rumored “rivalry” with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.

During the media conference for her much-awaited reality show “Heart World” on October 22, Heart stressed that she has no issues with the beauty queen.

“Woman to woman, I never had a problem with Pia,” she stated.

“In fact, I was one of those who cheered for her in the past. And I like to think that it was the same for her. She was so sweet enough to even use and post the hashtag ‘Heart Made Me Do It’ and at that time, I was so touched,” she added.

However, the global fashion icon said that it was the people around the former beauty queen who were making things problematic.

“But it’s the people she chose to surround herself for specific reasons that makes this whole thing problematic,” she noted.

Despite not naming those who around the 2015 Miss Universe titleholder, the Filipina fashion icon relayed a message and a piece of advice for her: “So, if I have a message to Pia it would be: Congratulations! You have what you needed, I wish you nothing but the best and good luck.”

“Sana, sana hindi mangyari sa’yo ‘yung nangyari sa akin. Yun lang siguro ang gusto ko sabihin (I hope, I hope what happened to me doesn’t happen to you. That’s probably all I want to say),” she concluded.

Heart’s former glam team, with whom she had a “falling out” with, is now working with Pia.

Both women dominated Milan Fashion Week as top influencers or those who have garnered millions in media impact value (MIV). The beauty queen ranked fourth while the Filipina actress was on the 13th spot.

Additionally, the Kapuso star was recognized for generating the highest celebrity-driven MIV at the 2024 Paris Fashion Week (PFW) 2024.
