Ho ho ho! It’s time to cheer because Christmas is near. Get your cutest Christmas sweater and let’s rock the night away as the Ateneo Economics Association presents VIA: Never Apart Benefit Concert on December 05, 2021 from 7pm to 9pm.
VIA is making history by its manifesting first concert amidst the pandemic. The concert aims to support VIA’s event beneficiaries, the children of Payatas through Tanging Yaman Foundation. These children, aged 3-8 years old, are from vulnerable and disadvantaged families, relative to their health/medical, nutritional and educational needs. It is VIA and Tanging Yaman’s objective to extend the love and comfort of the event projects to its audience members to these children. VIA wishes to provide them both monetary donations and gift donations via our event packages and the event. A portion of all package sales will go to the children.
A bit more about the organization and VIA:
The Ateneo Economics Association aspires to initiate economic discourse to a greater audience. The organization envisions a more socio-economically aware society, and pushes forth this thrust through a series of yearly initiatives that also aims to educate and develop their members into becoming competent and critical leaders of tomorrow. One of these projects is VIA. VIA, or Valentines in August, is the organization’s yearly flagship project that promotes love and compassion to the community while alleviating a problem that contributes to further economic reforms in a sector it intends to help.
