Polytechnic University of the Philippines’ (PUP) resident dance group, PUP Maharlika Dance Artists, will be having its 37th Season Annual Concert titled “HARAYA: Aninong Naglalaho” on March 13, 2019, 5PM at the Tanghalang PUP, College of Communication Compound, Anonas St., Sta. Mesa, Manila.
HARAYA highlights the Filipino identity by showcasing the colorful and diverse dances of the Philippines. It also looks back to our origin and emphasizes the importance of collective values and aspirations. The millennials must understand that we must evolve without compromising our identity. A feat that should be claimed and stressed by the artist himself amidst the advent of changes in the dance genres.
