Miss the gym yet? Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Mon Lopez has recently announced that sectors under the IATF’s Category 4 industries might reopen under the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ). Although open, though, they will only be operating at 50% capacity.
Some examples that Lopez gave on industries that will be allowed to re-open are gyms, fitness studios, and sport facilities. He points out that these only include non-contact activities, though, and will only be allowed in MGCQ areas. MGCQ has fewer restrictions compared to the current GCQ.
I’m sure you are all excited to work out and lose all of that quarantine weight (or is that just me?), but please take note that safety and health policies should still be implemented at all times.
