Guns N’ Roses Ongoing Tour Now Ranks as Fourth Highest-Grossing of All Time

Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Not in This Lifetime’ tour is hands down the biggest tour of 2017. With an earning of reportedly USD 475 million (and counting), the rock band’s ongoing tour becomes the fourth highest-grossing tour of all time, based on Billboard’s Boxscore archives.

Above Guns N’ Roses on the list of top earners in history are the bands U2 at no. 1 with USD 736 million (2009-2011), The Rolling Stones in second place with USD 558 million (2005-2007), and Coldplay placing third with USD 523 million (2016-2017).

The band’s tour started in April 2016, wrapped up in November 2017, and is expected to resume in Europe in June this year.

Billboard noted that Guns N’ Roses has already performed to more than 4.

3 million fans worldwide; the fans at various festival appearances during the first two years of touring aren’t even included yet. The show with the highest earning so far was the two-night stint they did at London Stadium in June 2017 with USD 17.6 million from 140,877 tickets sold.

Guns N’ Roses is best known for hits such as ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.’
