Grind and Co – The Restaurant in Quezon City that Stays Open til 1AM
Situated in a quiet corner along Tomas Morato lies a gem of a restaurant named “Grind and Co.” . This restaurant in Quezon City opened last November 2013, serving wings, burgers, nachos and sausages along with both local and imported beers. What’s great about Grind and Co. is that they stay open til 1am, which means you and your barkada can still drop by after a late night out to relax and unwind before going home.
Grind and Co. is generally not as expensive as other similar restaurants in the area. Their wings and basically everything else on their menu are budget-friendly, too. In fact, their imported beers are only at P120, no matter which one you choose.

The Must-Try Items at Grind and Co.
The Louis Burger (P99)
No ketchup, no mayo – just a plain burger patty with a slice of tomato and onion sandwiched between two slices of tasty bread…SAY WHAT?!
Yes, this burger is based on the very first hamburger sandwich made in the US. This burger is amazing because you do not need to put any condiments on it — I’m not kidding, the patty is flavorful and very delicious.This takes the #1 spot – a definite must when you visit Grind and Co.
Ultimate Nachos (P120)
This was the bomb. If you notice, the basket is overflowing with nachos and the toppings are overflowing, too. I love that they use big chunks of Jalapeño peppers for this. Another thing I noticed is that they make it right after you order it, ensuring that the toppings are fresh and the nachos are served crunchy, not soggy.
Wings, Wings Wings ( P154/ solo)
According to Grind and Co’s awesome owners, this new flavor was inspired by the black pepper crabs that you can find in Singapore. This was my favorite among the flavors I tried. It was spicy and sweet —- heaven in a chicken wing is how I would describe this flavour.
If you’re not into peppery things you can choose the good ol’ Buffalo wings – spicy, tangy and super yummy, as well, because the flavor does not stay on the skin; it seeps into the moist chicken, too. Let me tell you: this is one of the best buffalo wings I’ve had and that is saying something.
Another option is their sweet soy wings. What’s great about their wings, in general, is that their secret recipe seeps into the chicken leaving the chicken tasty with or without a flavor. Some customers actually order their wings “plain”, which is said to taste somewhat similar to Chicken Joy.
Oh, and if you’re not into Nachos, you can opt for their potato wedges (P75) instead, which is by far the best potato wedges I have tried. For refreshments, I would suggest you try their house blend Iced Tea (p65/Medium size). 🙂
