Greeka Kouzina : Greek Food and Great Friends, What A Match.

The main highlight and the star dish(es!) for the night was a clear toss-up between the Arni Lemonato (Roast Lamb) and the Paidakia (Lamb Cutlets) . The Roast Lamb really tears off the bone so easily you don’t need a knife to go through this one, all thanks to it being roasted for five whole hours! Incredible! And worth every peso. Lamb is quite tricky as it can sometimes have a gamey odor and flavor so it must be marinated and cooked in the right way, that being said, this restaurant cooked this to complete perfection.

I thought the roasted lamb and the lamb cutlets would taste quite similar but surprisingly, the lamb cutlet was so delicious in a completely different manner in terms of taste and texture and it definitely held it’s own as a different meat dish. I personally enjoyed the lamb cutlet the most but some of my friends voted on the Roast Lamb as their favorite. It’s safe to say that you can’t go wrong with either of these two dishes.

The Krasates (porkchop) is another good option for a meat dish. I’ve just never been a fan of porkchops as it does tend to dry out more than others and although this meat dish was rich in flavor, I prefer my meats juicier but still, as far as porkchops go, this was flavorful and the gravy complemented the dish well.

Overall, it was an enjoyable evening with good food and good friends. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for group dinners as the serving sizes of most of the meals are really good for sharing. For dinner dates for two, I’d say go for a hearty serving of the salad and perhaps two meat dishes with your preferred side dishes.
