Yesterday, PART responded to a report of a severely injured cat at the People’s Park in the Sky, Tagaytay. After searching for hours, we finally spotted the cat and immediately contained her.

PART Kitten with half a face 3

She was thin and dirty, and had an open wound that ate up half of her face.

Aside from the wound on her face, she is positive for Toxoplasmosis, Panleukopenia and Calicivirus. The vet suspects that with her immune system already compromised, the wound on her face got severely infected which she self mutilated over a period of months.

Considering all her health issues, most would take one look at her and say “just put her down”, but she surprisingly is breathing normally, has a good appetite, alert and very affectionate. With her amazing resilience, we decided to fight with and for her. Once she recovers from her other illnesses, she will undergo a skin graft to reconstruct her face and help her live as normally as she could.

We named her CIELO, which means sky.

PART is asking for help to give Cielo her needed support for her recovery. Your donations will ensure that she immediately gets the treatment that she badly needs, and pave the way for a better future for her.
