GrabShare suspended due to COVID-19 outbreak

In order to continue to promote social distancing, Grab has decided to suspend GrabShare in Metro Manila and Cebu starting March 13, Friday, 12 PM onwards.

In order to lessen any exposure to those who might have contracted the virus, Grab has decided to halt their Share service for the time being and will lift the suspension once health risks have been lowered.

“To aid in the social distancing prescribed by the Philippine health officials with regards to the public health situation on COVID-19, Grab will be suspending its GrabShare services in Metro Manila and Cebu starting March 13, 12NN, and will resume as soon as the public health situation de-escalates,” their statement said.

Other Grab services will still continue to be available.
