The statement adds that they are ready to deploy over 300 e-scooters to select local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila. This is on top of the 50 e-scooters already given to the cities of Manila, Quezon, San Juan, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Marikina, and Pasig.
Grab also reminded frontliners to do their own checks on the scooters before use: check the battery level and tap on the scooter from the app to check its battery level before unlocking; and check the brakes, headlights, kickstand, and surroundings after unlocking.

Qualified users will have to coordinate with their LGUs on policies concerning the borrowing and returning of e-scooters.
