In case you didn’t know, Netflix has released several Filipino films in its streaming service. (Read more about that here.) Well, it doesn’t look like they’ll be stopping anytime soon. Netflix continues to ramp up its Filipino content with the historical biopic, ‘Goyo: The Boy General’ (yes, that will be its English title in the streaming service) directed by Jerrold Tarog and starring Paulo Avelino as the titular Filipino hero.
In the movie, brash ladies’ man Gregorio “Goyo” del Pilar rises to become one of the Philippines’ youngest generals in this historical epic sequel to ‘Heneral Luna’ (which is also available on Netflix).
‘Goyo: The Boy General’ will start streaming on Netflix starting January 26, 2019. Who’s excited?
