Gov’t Workers Get Free LRT/MRT Rides Tomorrow

When in Manila, state workers can ride the Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 and the Metro Rail Transit tomorrow, September 29 FOR FREE! No kidding! This is part of commemorating the 111th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary this month, with the theme “Championing RACE: Public Service Excellence at Full Speed”.

 Government workers can avail of the free rides from 7AM-9AM and 5PM-7PM (during rush hours). They just have to present their government IDs to the cashier.

 

 

Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairman Francisco Duque said the free rides are offered in partnership with Department of Transportation and Communications.

 

 

So to MRT or not to MRT, that is the question for me lol.
