“God” Responds to Manny Pacquaio on Twitter

The highly anticipated Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight is fast approaching. Boxing experts here and there are chiming in their thoughts and predictions of the upcoming bout. Boxing legends and other celebrities have already started picking their bets. Local TV networks have prepared for the airing of the mega-fight. Tickets were sold. Meanwhile, the two iconic boxers continue their training for their match on May 2, 2015 at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

God-TheTweetOfGod-on-Twitter

Joining in is “God” (@TheTweetOfGod, a parody account on Twitter) who responded to Manny Pacquiao’s post.

Of course, it’s not really God tweeting but comedy writer David Javerbaum. His tweets may seem shameful at times, bordering to blasphemy, but the tweets are purely satirical. Plus, he only follows one account, Justin Bieber, who we all know is a close friend of Mayweather.

@TheTweetOfGod’s response to Pacquaio’s Facebook post is quite funny.

Pacquaio posted on his Facebook:

The Lord raised me from nothing into something for a purpose and that purpose is to bring glory to His name.

With this consent, we think that Mayweather needs more than a $25,000 mouthguard to protect himself.

What do you think?

Whose side are you on?
