Are you a frequent Eastwood Mall goer like me? Never miss Eastwood City‘s Banana Festival happening every weekend of June, at Eastwood Mall.
Go bananas over their featured stalls, each with their own “bananalicious” creations that will surely end all banana cravings.
Yours truly got the chance to visit the festival last Sunday to check out their must try banana specials. Here’s what I recommend:
5. Saba con Yelo by Sweet B
Craving for something sweet ‘n milky? Sweet B’s Sabah con Yelo, is here to the rescue. Enjoy this cup of icy banana goodness for only 50 pesos.
4. Banana Frites by Diner on the 16th
Love turon? Wait ’til you try this one- Freshly fried crispy banana fritters dipped in rich chocolate sauce. Only 90 pesos per order. You must be willing to wait for a few minutes though, since they will only cook it upon order to ensure quality and freshness.
3. Â Banana Thins by Orell’s by Pempeyo
At first, I thought it was just a typical tub of banana chips. But no, these babies are made extra thin, making it more enjoyable to munch on. I also love that fact that it’s not too sweet, so I didn’t hesitate to bring an extra tub for my health conscious relatives back home.  The quality on how these are made is simply superb. Be sure to grab a tub before going home.
2. Banana Cake by Richmonde Hotel
A signature indeed. Ultra moist and buttery banana cake loaf made by non-other than the dedicated chefs of Eastwood Richmond Hotel. Perfect paired with your favorite brew. Loved by moms and many households for years.

Banana Cream Pie by Kettle
Got a sweet tooth? Drop by Kettle’s booth and indulge in this wickedly creamy dessert. Enjoy layers of sweetened bananas on graham crust topped with whipped cream and butterscotch bits! ooooh, la la!!! Take my money now!
Aside from these, you can also get to enjoy….
Fruit Shakes by Fruitas
