Glee star Naya Rivera is said to be missing after going for a swim with her 4-year-old son, according to CBS Local News.
Authorities found her son alone in a boat on Lake Piru in California on Wednesday afternoon (California local time).
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said that they began searching for a presumed drowning victim at the reservoir at around 1 PM (California local time).
Rivera, 33, has reportedly arrived at the lake and rented a pontoon boat. She then took her son out aboard.
The boat was found with her son inside but Rivera wasn’t there at 4 PM (California local time). Their car was still parked at the lake.
On Tuesday, the actress even posted a photo herself with her son on Twitter. She wrote, “just the two of us.”

Reports say that Rivera and her son are swimming in the lake. Only the boy got back on the boat although it is still unclear how it happened.
A search and rescue dive team and a helicopter with a drone have both been dispatched to the scene to assist in the search, according to The Daily Mail.
Lake Piru is a reservoir situated at the Los Padres National Forest and Topatopa Mountains.
Note: Initially, authorities said the child was a 3-year-old girl, but later confirmed that the child is a 4-year-old boy.
