GIRL POWER: The Disney Princesses are Reimagined with Modern Day Jobs!

Those who grew up watching Disney classics and the princesses were used to the idea of the films ending with the characters getting married to Prince Charming. While they lived happily ever after, it didn’t set a good example to girls growing up. Come on, guys. It’s 2018 and there aren’t enough Prince Charmings to go around.

That’s what inspired artist Matt Burt when he reimagined the Disney Princesses as career women, for a line of illustrations he did for Simple Thrifty Living. He told Scary Mommy, “To many people, the Disney princesses have become so much more than just characters in movies. I wanted to create these to inspire others in hopes that they can find a career that they love and a career that makes a difference.”

Snow White
