Getting Ready with ENGINEERING CONGRESS 2021

Reinforcing Frameworks: Strengthening the Philippine Structures and Complexes Through Engineering Integration, Smart Planning and Optimizing Advanced Technology Towards Sustainable Development

Twenty years and still counting, the Civil engineering Executive Organization (CEO) continuous to grace us with Engineering Congress!

Volcano eruption? Back-to-back typhoons? A pandemic? There are no words on how these disasters challenged us throughout 2020. Centering around Disaster Management, Engineering Congress 2021 is on its way to equip generations of engineers and part of the academe to become innovators and problem solvers, especially when the country needs us the most.

On March 13, 2021, gear up for the two main events CEO has in store: Engineering Seminar and the first ever, Executives’ Challenge CAD Edition. Inviting distinct speakers to share their expertise in their respective fields of engineering for one of the most awaited national forums, Engineering Seminar. Despite the restrictions regarding mass gathering, CEO navigates the virtual world as it takes the congress live on Facebook, on its official Facebook page, Engineering Congress. In addition to this, the Executives’ Challenge CAD Edition features eleven teams from eight colleges and universities display their skills on computer-aided design as they accept the challenge for this national intercollegiate competition. Who will prevail? Stay tuned!

An intellectual forum and a riveting competition, but CEO takes an extra step with its collaboration with Citizens’ Disaster Response Center (CDRC), a non-government organization that aims to promote community-based disaster management in the Philippines, in line with the objective of Engineering Congress 2021, advocating sustainable development. A donation drive for CDRC’s benefit is taking place, to continue to achieve their goals to respond to disasters of sectors most vulnerable due to their socio-economic conditions, especially to children, women, elderly, and differently abled. Donations are very much appreciated, to do so, inquire to the official Facebook page, Engineering Congress, or coordinate with Giennan Marco Antonio, through gfantonio2@up.edu.ph or 0912 990 6883.
