Get Your Friday Night Fix with Novotel's "Freedom Fridays"

We all know how horrible Fridays could be in the Metro. We kill time by either watching a movie or window shopping. So, take a break from the usual Friday routine with Novotel’s “Freedom Fridays!”

Every week, The 6th Pool Bar and Lounge hosts Freedom Fridays, where you can share great food, awesome music from amazing DJs while enjoying the company of your friends! And, of course, it offers a wide selection of beers, cocktails, just to name a few!

As luck would have it, we got to experience the Freedom Fridays! The drinks start from PHP 600.00 for 6 local beers to an all-out PHP 5,200.00 for an order of Summer Session consisting of a choice of Jack Daniel 750mL or a Johnnie Walker Black Label 750mL served with four cans of sodas and nibbles of your choice. Not bad, hey!

And for non-drinkers like me, Novotel’s signature iced teas and fruit concoctions are available as well. The 6th Pool Bar and Lounge also serves awesome nibbles such as a combo of calamares, chicken lollipop, onion rings, nachos and cheese sticks in a platter for PHP 1,200.00. You may also opt for the Grilled Platter with Beef Skewers, Chicken Barbecue, Kingfish and Pork Barbecue for PHP 2,000.00. The serving size is enough to keep you and your barkada’s tummies full for the night!

Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean you can’t luxuriate in at Novotel’s swimming pool!

For just PHP 300.00 entrance per head, you can enjoy the pool plus one free drink too! The best part? They have these inflatable pool toys, which you can use to laze around all the night through! My favorite is the unicorn, of course!

All in all, I had a great time during Freedom Fridays, and I bet you would too! Freedom Fridays happen every week from 8:30 pm onwards at The 6th Pool Bar and Lounge of the Novotel Manila Araneta Center, be it rain or shine!
