The International Travel Expo Series (I.T.E) is ready for Visit Philippines Again 2016. This series of travel expos is set to open its doors in three major cities: Cebu (June 30 – July 2) at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino, Lahug; Davao (September 9 – 11) at the SMX Convention Center Davao, SM Lanang Premier Mall; and Manila (September 22 – 24) at the SMX Convention Center Manila, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
The I.T.E. 2016 series is set to feature the latest in all kinds of travel needs – from hotel accommodations to airlines to destinations & attractions to travel operators. “I.T.E may not be the biggest travel show in the country yet but right now, our focus in on opening up opportunities to industry stakeholders, travel companies, transportation, entrepreneurs, and other tourism professionals across the country,” shared Patrick-Lawrence Tan, CEO of Global-Link MP Events International, Inc., organizer of the show.
The show was launched just a few years ago in Cebu and Davao where it has since gained the support of the Cebu Association and Tour Operators (CATO) and Davao International Travel Operators (DATO). The two organizations have a combined membership of over 150 tour operators, travel agencies, and travel agents.
“Over the years, Cebu has been carving a name in the travel industry as one of the top tourist destinations not only here in the Philippines but the world over. Last year, the show posted a 10% increase in exhibitor participation, most of which were top hotels and resorts in the Philippines. In Cebu, a total of 7,768 trade visitors attended the expo, followed by the Davao Expo with over 9,580 attendees and in Manila with 12,252 buyers. In the previous years, ITE series has been participated by the biggest airlines and travel companies in the Philippines, to name a few: Philippine Airlines, Air Asia, Azalea Residences, Canyon Cove, Dakak Beach Resort, G & S Transport (Avis Philippines), Henann Group of Resorts, Hotel Jen Manila, Huma Island Resort and Spa, Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar, Rakso Air Travel and Tours, Shadow Travel and Tours, Star Cruises, The Bellevue Hotel and Resort, Waterfront Hotels and Casinos.
