On its second year, Insight: Psychology Conference is back once again to expand your knowledge and awareness in the field of psychology. This year, Insight will be a two-day event on April 20-21, 2018 and will be held at the School of Economics, UP Diliman. Guided by its theme for this year, Fueling Action Through Awareness, the conference will feature numerous paper presentations with a wide array of topics to be presented by researchers from different age groups and backgrounds and will include various speakers coming from different fields of psychology.

The conference was the first psychology conference at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, which happened on March 31, 2017 to April 1, 2017. It was spearheaded by the U.P. Psychology Society and aided by student volunteers from other psychology organizations. UP PsychSoc successfully pioneered the first Insight conference with over 200 attendees, having been accredited and supported by the Commission on Higher Education and the U.P. Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Undergraduate researchers and notable professionals alike came to expound more on their fields through talks, research presentations, panel discussions, and workshops in various fields such as psychometrics, cognitive psychology, LGBT psychology, and Sikolohiyang Pilipino.

The conference is a great avenue for psychology enthusiasts to openly share their knowledge and engage in meaningful discourse uplifting the science. It is also a great opportunity for other individuals who are not too familiar with the field, but are interested in it to broaden their understanding of psychology and research as well as to know their applications to real-life settings.
